We are able to offer a variety of fishing on the Estate including fly fishing for Salmon and Trout or coarse fishing for Perch and Arctic Char.

River Leny North Bank

Visit the Fishing around the Forth web site for more detailed information and maps.

The River Leny (Garbh Uisge) presents a classical upper reaches salmon fishing experience. It is fed by Loch Lubnaig and joins the River Teith at Callander, ultimately flowing into the River Forth system. Salmon, sea trout and brown trout are all present in the river. With approximately 4 miles of fishing there is ample variety and space on the river.

We operate a season ticket only system on the River Leny. Two rods fish each day of the week throughout the season. Many of the rods have fished the river for a decade or more so places only become available occasionally. However if you would like to register your interest in taking a rod on the Leny when a place does become available please fill in the form.

Loch Lubnaig

Visit the Fishing around the Forth web site for more detailed information, maps and tickets.

Loch Lubnaig is a natural fresh water loch that extends to approximately 570 acres and depths of up to 45m. It is fed by the river Balvag (Balvaig) and flows into the River Leny (Garbh Uisge). Loch Lubnaig is unusual in that it runs predominantly North/South and so is sheltered from the prevailing westerly winds.

Lubnaig offers a variety of fishing including Arctic Char, Perch and Brown trout as well as migratory salmon and sea trout. It has a particular reputation for large perch.

We are able to offer day, week and season tickets for approximately 2 miles of bank fishing on the south west side of Lubnaig along the A84. We also have a secure launch area and separate tickets are available to fish from your own boat (please note maximum 10hp engines).

Little Leny

Visit the Fishing around the Forth web site for more detailed information, maps and tickets.

The River Leny is a Salmon river primarily, however there are some good Trout and a significant number of Sea Trout hold in the lower river above Callander and up the Eas Gobhain river. The Little Leny Beat incorporates a section of the left bank of the lower Eas Gobhain and this is by far the best Sea Trout specific river on the Teith system. The beat is small, yet it offers optimal positioning on the right bank of the lower Leny and the left bank of the lower Eas Gobhain within 100-200m walk at any time right down to The Meetings Pool (confluence of both of the rivers to form the River Teith)”

Tickets for Little Leny are available from the FishForth web site.
