Post-lockdown Self Catering Holidays
July 2020

After unfortunately having to pause bookings for Farmston Lodge, and cancel or postpone holidays for people impacted by lockdown, we are now taking bookings for our beautiful cottage for self catering holidays from 24th July 2020. At the point of uploading this article we have availability for the last week of July and availability in September but August is fully booked. Farmston Lodge is ideally situated as a standalone property with plenty of open space surrounding it. You can see more details, availability and book online on the Holiday Accommodation page.

We have made a number of changes to the lodge to follow the current best practice guidelines. The key changes are that as members of the Association of Scotland’s Self Caterers and we will be following their enhanced cleaning protocols which can be found at on the ASSC web site. Please be aware that as part of this change is that check in time is now 7pm and check out is 9am. This is to allow sufficient time for the enhanced cleaning and to leave the property empty for 3 hours before guest arrival.

Lockdown has eased and fishing has re-opened. Please see our Fishing page for details of the variety of fishing available on the Estate, and links to get tickets. New for this year is the Fish Forth website which has some fantastic video of the fishing on the estate and provides an opportunity to purchase tickets online. See our Fishing page for details.

Also new for this year is an opportunity to purchase season tickets covering both the Little Leny and Balvaig. This provides a unique opportunity to access two very different parts of the Teith system. See fishing page for details.
